President of the Entrepreneurial Poland Foundation and co-founder of Academic Entrepreneurship Incubators, the Business Link network of accelerators, the AIP Seed Capital and bValue funds and the Business Centre Club Student Forum. He co-created the Polish pre-incubation, incubation and acceleration model, which has benefited over 20,000 startups and entrepreneurs.

He has been supporting startups and entrepreneurship since 1999. He has been committed to the success of over 100 companies recapitalised in seed and VC funds. He advises on business development, investment acquisition and adoption of innovative solutions in corporations. He has participated in the process of startups securing further investment rounds and selling shares. Furthermore, he supports startups in entering into partnerships with corporations and other business partners.

She has implemented acceleration projects for Bank Handlowy, Skanska, Audi, Danone, Maspex, and others.

Manager of the Scale Up project – a programme for deploying startup innovations in corporations.

European funds expert in project acquisition, implementation and evaluation, and business consulting. She has managed projects with a total worth of over PLN 100 million. A mentor and business advisor, Katarzyna has closed over 100 end-to-end VC investment transaction processes.

Mentor for innovation, science-to-business technology transfer, and VC investment acquisition.

Investor in many innovative startups. He provides strategic consulting and investment analysis for companies, and advises on acquiring further funding rounds, exits and commercialisation.

He takes part in the process of selecting projects for investment, negotiations and supporting companies in their development.

Acceleration and startup financing expert. He is in charge of billing, monitoring milestones and assessing financial and substantive project progress. He supports startups in the delivery of acceleration programmes, acquisition of funding and deployments.

Experienced investment manager committed to the end-to-end transactional process, including scouting, contribution to project appraisals and Investment Committees, negotiations, formal investment processing, and acceleration follow-up.

Advisor to startups on corporate finances, acquiring external resources, creating business plans and financial analyses, and project clearing and evaluation.

He coordinates the Foundation’s projects in terms of financing and is involved in report writing and budget planning.

Startups – Success Story

CallPage has raised investment from AIP Seed Capital, the Estonian accelerator Wise Guys, bValue VC and the Polish-Israeli fund TDJ Pitango Ventures.

The funds Innovation Nest and Market One Capital have also joined the group of investors.

SiDLY sp. z o. o. is the driving force behind the growth of medical telematics in Poland and Europe.

It is one of the first organisations to provide end-to-end services for remote medical diagnostics, from searching for areas that warrant telematics solution to be initiated, to designing, testing and engineering devices, systems, and a dedicated application. The SiDLY team features a blend of technology, medicine and science professionals. SiDLY’s products improve the performance of clinics and social care homes.

To date, AIP Seed Capital, private investors and Internet Ventures from MCI Capital Group have invested in the startup.

InnoVenture, Simpact.vc and the Black Swan Fund have joined the ranks of SiDLY’s shareholders and investors.

Qpony.pl is the most popular app for viewing information on promotions and coupons for many popular retailers and restaurants.

To date, they have been trusted by more than 250 national and international brands. They create pro-sales campaigns for 60 shopping centres and galleries in Poland.

The company secured investment from AIP Seed Capital, seeing an over 10-fold ROI on its initial capital following a 3-year period.

In 2016, the startup Qpony.pl has become the owner of the shopping app Blix. Today, the mobile group, with the two apps combined in its portfolio, has a total of over one million monthly active users. The company is now valued at PLN 12 million.

Glov is a Polish brand featuring an innovative cotton microfibre make-up remover glove. The glove makes it possible to remove make-up in an effective and skin-healthy way with water only. The product does not irritate the skin and, on top of that, can be reused and cleaned many times.

The Glov brand has conquered many global markets and, as a result of its innovative technology, has been awarded a number of prizes.

The company secured investment from the AIP Seed Capital fund. Its turnover reached PLN 11 million. The company has expanded into foreign markets. Currently, more than 80% of its sales are exports. Outside Poland, the Glov brand has a strong position in France, the DACH countries, the UK, Italy, Chile, and Japan

Wealthon Fund S.A. provides fast and agile assistance to entrepreneurs in solving their financial problems. The company provides bridging loans for entrepreneurs, suitable, for example, for the repayment of arrears with the Social Security Office and the Tax Office.

Wealthon Fund has won an impressive number of awards. At the Fintech Summit Awards, it was awarded the Best LendingTech of 2021 title. In 2021, it has also granted a Small Payment Institution licence and started the process of seeking a National Payment Institution licence.

Projects

SCALE UP

Scale Up is a startup support programme for funding, consulting and connecting startups with corporations and partners looking to scale technology and innovative solutions. The project is a process of identifying business needs and delivering bespoke advisory services to boost growth.

The project concept is to deliver an acceleration programme for 55 startups; the programme includes consultancy and grants for startups (equity free). The purpose is to support startups in their growth and launch of innovative solutions that address the needs of stakeholder corporations and partners.

STARTUP BOOSTER POLAND – SMART UP

We are starting with the STARTUP BOOSTER POLAND – SMART UP project!  

Polska Przedsiębiorcza has been chosen by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development to realize the Startup Booster Poland – Smart Up program.  

Our proposed concept was rated the highest. The Foundation will receive more than PLN 14 million for the implementation of the project. 

The project, called INNOVATION ZONE PROGRAM, is aimed at young innovative technology startups with the potential for dynamic growth. Startups will receive professional support from experts, mentors, corporations and VC funds, and will be eligible for grants of up to PLN 400 thousand.  

Our project has been evaluated as one of the most attractive and effective providing startups with access to a valuable ecosystem of Polish and foreign partners.
